Rental Policy
- RENTAL CONTRACT: It is a legal document, therefore you must be at least 18 years old to rent.
- RENTAL PERIOD is three days, you may pick up your rental one business day prior to your event and bring back one business day after your event
- PAYMENT: Rental must be paid in full before the costume is pulled from the floor. We do not guarantee availability of any costume without a signed contract.
- PAYMENT METHODS: You may pay for your rental by credit card or cash. Greenleaf Costumes accepts all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
- DEPOSITS: An extra time/damage security deposit is required before a costume leaves the store. It is an authorization on a credit card equal to the rental price. In some cases the authorization is larger depending upon the value of the costume. The authorization is a hold on credit, not an actual charge. If we do not claim the deposit, it automatically expires. The credit card must match the information on the contract.
- CANCELLATIONS: If a cancellation is made 4 or more business days prior to pickup date, you will be given store credit for the original rental fee, minus a $10 restock fee. Cancellations made within 3 or less days of pickup date will forfeit any and all rental fees.
- NOT PICKED UP: If a rental is not picked up by the close of business on the day of your event your costume will be returned to the floor and any payments will be forfeited.
- NOT RETURNED: Any items not returned within 72 hours of return date will be charged full replacement value.
- DAMAGED ITEMS: An item is considered to have been damaged by tearing, burning, cutting, excessive make-up, removal of buttons, medallions, badges or other kinds of trim. You will be charged full replacement value.
- CLEANING: Do not clean the garment yourself. We clean all costumes. If an item requires additional scrubbing there will be a $25 scrubbing fee. If we are unable to return the costume to a rentable condition you will be charged full replacement value.
Costume Shop Return Policy - Retail Section
Any approved returns must be received in new/unused condition with all of its original packaging within 2 days of purchase along with the original receipt. Only exchanges or store credit minus a 15% restocking fee are given. Returns or exchanges are made at the sole discretion of Greenleaf Costumes.
The following items purchased within the store retail section CANNOT be returned: Beards, Makeup , Moustaches, Socks, Teeth, Tights & Wigs, We regret any inconvenience, but these are non-returnable due to sanitary and hygiene restrictions. If you have any questions feel free to call or contact us.
